Asynchronous Interactive Instructor Based Courses

Please pay close attention to the course information on the catalog page to determine if the course is a good fit. Specifics regarding credit hours and if the credits are applicable to vets are listed. Course that carry vet credits are open to technicians but not all non-vets will be ready for an advanced level course.

In addition, please verify if the course requires employment and/or access to practice resources.

Once payment has been submitted a member of our admin team will complete the enrollment process manually. This is normally done within 24 hours, with a bit longer for weekends and holidays. A course welcome email is then sent out with directions regarding how to enter the course.

There are two status levels , once the welcome email has been sent, Pending Active and Self-Activated. At this point the student is expected to read the information in the Getting Started area located inside the course and to contact us if there are any questions. It is the student themselves who will update their course status as per the info below.

Pending Active:

The Pending student has access to the course but has not yet completed the self-activation process as outlined in the section below. These students are eligible for a refund less a $25 administrative fee. Refunds are not issued more than 30 days after the date of payment.

The Self-Activated Student:

An active student is defined as one who has submitted the Getting Started quiz within the course and therefore has full access to the course materials and other components. The activation process is clearly outlined in the course. Active students are no longer eligible for a refund.
