Laser therapy has been used in medicine for a long time, yet in the last decade there has been an explosion of pertinent research. From Osteoarthritis to Syringomyelia, the laser is an amazing tool when used correctly. It is vital to know how to get the best results from your laser no matter which laser you have, Class I, III, or IV. This course looks at the physiologic effects laser has on the body as well as how and when to use laser therapy, from treating cancer, osteoarthritis, asthma, and so much more. From traumatic brain injuries to a tooth abscess, this course provides insight on more ways to utilize your laser with solid research thrown in for fun. At the end of the course participants should be able to: discuss ways to use laser therapy to help their patients explain how to best use the different variables for optimum effect in different tissue types recognize that there is sufficient research to incorporate laser therapy in your SOP

If after 60 days the completion requirements have not been submitted, the participant will be graded out of the course as incomplete.

Completion Requirements
The completion requirements for this course are: complete the quiz with a score of 80% or better - multiple attempts are permitted submit the course survey Upon submission of the final completion requirement, the participant will automatically be marked as completed and the course completion email will be sent out. The participant will have immediate access to the certificate.
