The Elanco PET Program: Professional Education and Training

Welcome back to the Elanco PET Program, funded by Elanco, and free of charge to the veterinary community, The program is designed to motivate, educate and reward the veterinary healthcare team.

Elanco, in collaboration with VetMedTeam, has reviewed and updated educational content within the program. In addition, the original set of 11 modules has been organized into a series of on demand courses, RACE approved for both technicians and veterinarians.

Certificates earned by participants under the past module based system remain valid for RACE credit. All prior users who wish to enroll in the new course based format are welcome, even if the topic was one completed via the Elanco website. Past participants are eligible to earn the PET Program Rewards associated with the new course format. Current online education, RACE credits and PET Program Rewards - it's all at your fingertips!
Important Message for Prior PET Program Participants
To participate in the courses you will need to be a member of VetMedTeam. Your old login credentials from the Elanco web site will no longer provide access to the PET Program. If you are not yet a member please take a moment to complete the Profile Form. There is never a fee or charge to be a member of VetMedTeam.


The steps to participate in the Elanco PET Program courses are:

  • Login using your VetMedTeam username and password
  • Go to the Elanco PET Program category in the Course Catalog
  • Add to your shopping cart as many courses as you wish
  • Complete the steps in the shopping cart to finalize your enrollment
  • Watch your email for the course welcome letters - they contain the info you need to get started
  • Submit the course exams and survey after reviewing the presentations
  • Complete your Rewards shipping form
  • Watch your email for your course completion letter with info on how to access your certificate
  • Your Elanco PET Program rewards will be sent to your designated shipping address
